Our Team

Mandy started in the industry with EW Bearings who were part of the Unipart Group. She started as a van driver, then progressed through van sales to inside sales and eventually became Branch Manager. She learnt all aspects of the business during her employment with EW Bearings. Mandy left in 1994 to start Industrial Links and finds it hard to believe that is has now been established for twenty years. She works in every aspect of the business and develops strong relationships with customers to enable the best all round service level possible. She is especially keen to promote vendor managed inventory on site which Industrial Links has proven to save their customer time, money and stock shortages. Dawn started in the industry with Wippermann Chains in Birmingham and relocated to Dorset when the company moved south to merge with a large engineering company. She started in a sales role and was promoted to sales manager in charge of a busy sales and administration department for the company, dealing with key OEM and distribution account customers. She joined Industrial Links in 2002 in a sales role and soon became a popular contact with the customers; she runs and maintains the busy MOD contract for the company which is countrywide. Dawn has progressed within the company and is in charge of the finance department and in 2017 became a director. Stuart has worked within the power transmission market for most of his career and was in charge of distribution at a large local engineering company. He joined Industrial Links expanding sales team in 2004. Stuart has progressed through the company and is now in charge of key accounts and has a great depth of knowledge which has made him a popular point of contact with our customers. Stuart’s hands on approach and desire to find out how things work helps him see things from the customers prospective. He loves getting involved in specialist projects and solving problems. Ann joined Industrial Links in 2008 as our van driver and has since been promoted to a van sales position. When she’s not with her customers she is a great help with administration duties within the sales office. Our customer’s like to see her smiling face each day when she is delivering the parts to them which help to solve their problems. She ensures that goods delivered into stores are correct and right for our customer needs. She covers all areas of Dorset most days and sometimes she thinks she needs a helicopter to get all of the deliveries done – somehow she always manages! She loves her van, but weekends are always about the horse and carriage. She can often be seen on bridal carriages in and around Dorset helping to make a brides dream come true. Rob joined the sales team in 2013. Coming originally from Wolverhampton, he has just “celebrated” 30 years in the power transmission industry. Rob started his career with Bearing Services Limited, who are a National distribution company and during his nineteen year career, he managed branches in the Midlands and worked with many industries supplying specialist bearing and power transmission products. In 2003 he moved to a distributor of power transmission products and worked in the trade division heading up a unique department which supports the distribution sector. His depth of knowledge of bearings and power transmission and his tenacious sourcing abilities have been a great addition to the Industrial links team. Rob enjoys Motorsport, everything Star Wars and music. He is enjoying his new life living on the southern coast, so much so that we have to stop him wearing his flip flops to work! Craig joined the team in 2015. He has worked for national and independent bearing companies in the South East for over 30 years. He has a broad knowledge of engineering products and also loves to visit customers on site to problem solve. Craig is dedicated and will spend many hours trying to source items for his customers He has loved this county for many years, taking many holiday’s down here and has now settled with his family in West Dorset. His unique sense of humour keeps the team laughing. He is a familiar welcoming face on the trade counter and out and about visiting customers.
